THE TURNAROUND is a new movie from writer, producer, and actor Cuete Yeska (Better Things,Sons of Anarchy, Lopez). The story centers around a Los Angeles gang member who is struggling with serious mental health issues including panic disorder and post traumatic stress. The film is emotionally raw and the acting is as authentic as it gets. Actor Cuete Yeska's performance is heart-wrenching and powerful.
While we are introduced to a world where being tough seems to be the only acceptable mode of being, through the lead actor, we follow him on a journey of self knowledge to discover the power of vulnerability and emotional sensitivity and learn how vital these elements are to building a thriving, healthy community. This movie is necessary for today. Cuete Yeska isn't afraid to talk about mental health in America and it's about time that we had this conversation in our communities. Go see this movie. You will be moved.

Cuete, Thank you for sharing your film with me. I was truly impressed. You said more in 27 minutes than big budget movies say in two hours. Believe me I've been doing this for 40 years and rarely does a film have the power and passion you guys showed. Your story was strong and your character totally held my attention. You've inspired me and that's not easy after 40 years in the business. Keep writing and don't stop. Amazing
